J. DAVID JACOBSON
EXPERIENCE
David Jacobson has over thirty years of experience in telecommunications and energy law, representing clients in state courts, federal courts, and before state and federal regulatory commissions. Mr. Jacobson has represented a variety of telecommunications carriers on numerous issues, including certificates of authority, regulatory compliance, interconnection/resale agreement negotiations and arbitrations, administrative rulemaking proceedings as well as commercial and contract related matters. Mr. Jacobson’s clients include both incumbent and competitive local exchange telephone companies, facilities-based and reseller long distance carriers, operator service providers, and wireless carriers.
Mr. Jacobson regularly appears before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and in state and federal courts on telecommunications matters. His experience also includes representation of clients in electric utility regulatory matters, electricity cogeneration, complex commercial litigation, and general corporate law.
Mr. Jacobson has the highest AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell lawyer peer-rating agency. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Courts in Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the state courts of Oklahoma, Texas, and Indiana.
